Showcase Projects

The Abyek Cement Factory Expansion Project comprised the construction of the principal industrial and structural facilities required for the second production line of the cement plant. The project was executed as an independent development phase, including the construction of major process buildings, steel structures, utility facilities, and supporting infrastructure in accordance with industrial construction standards.

The scope of work included the construction of the Material Mill, Pre-Heater Structure, Cooling Tower, ID Fan Building, Cooler, Kiln and Kiln Platform, Third Air Pipe, Material Transfer Gallery, Clinker Transfer Tunnel, steel structures connecting the Pre-Heater to the Raw Material Silos, electrical substations, installation canals, and other associated industrial facilities. Construction activities also comprised 50,000 m³ of reinforced concrete works, 6,000 tons of reinforcement, 120,000 m² of formwork, and 2,000 tons of structural steel erection, supporting a production capacity of 125,000 tons per day.

Executed by Omran Maroon Engineers Co. as the Contractor, the project was completed in accordance with engineering standards and contractual specifications during the 20-month construction period, delivering the structural infrastructure required for the expansion of the cement production facilities.

The Second Power Plant of Shahid Abbasspour Hydropower Plant is an underground hydroelectric facility comprising four 250 MW generating units with a total installed capacity of 1,000 MW. As part of the project's completion, a complementary contract was implemented to finalize the remaining construction activities and restore critical infrastructure associated with the power plant.

Omran Maroon Engineers Co. participated in the project as the Subcontractor, carrying out construction works in accordance with the project's technical specifications while supporting the successful completion of this major hydropower development.

The scope of work included 350,000 m³ of rock excavation, 200,000 m³ of embankment works, 28,000 m³ of concrete placement, 404 tons of reinforcement, 10,000 m² of formwork, 25,000 m of grout injection, 165 tons of structural steel works, and the construction of a 6 km access road. These activities formed part of the complementary works required to complete and rehabilitate the underground power plant infrastructure.

The Golestan Administrative and Commercial Complex is a large-scale high-rise development comprising two reinforced concrete towers and a multi-level underground structure. The project includes the construction of a 173,000 m² mixed-use complex with 9 underground levels and two towers consisting of 27 and 32 stories, supported by a reinforced concrete structural system designed for high-rise construction.

The execution involved extensive civil and structural works, including 34 m of deep excavation, 21,000 m³ of earthworks, 114,813 m³ of reinforced concrete, 20,700 tons of reinforcement, 378,138 m² of formwork, and 73 tons of structural steel works. With a structural height of 160 m, the project required advanced construction planning, precise structural execution, and strict quality control throughout all phases of construction.

Executed by Omran Maroon Engineers Co. as the Contractor, the project was carried out in accordance with engineering standards, technical specifications, and contractual requirements during the 33-month construction period, delivering a modern reinforced concrete administrative and commercial complex.
